HAPLR SAY WE'RE #1 AGAIN

Due in large part to high customer use and local financial support, the Twinsburg Public Library has once again been ranked number one for a library serving a population between 10,000 and 24,000 . The national HAPLR-Index looks as various input and output factors including expenditures per capita, percent of the budget used towards materials; volumes per capita; circulation per capita; and staffing per capita. It is basically an indication of how well a library uses the resources it is given; selects materials that patrons want and need; attracts users and spends it budget based on library standards. This ranking reflects well on staff planning, budgeting, and most importantly our library staff’s front line interaction with customers. Our high ranking is definitely a product of our customers using the library often and checking out a large number of materials. We also benefit from the strong local and state funding we receive. The library staff thanks all of you for making Twinsburg Public Library number one again! For more information-please go to www.haplr-index.com
