Pet Adoptions, Tuesday, July 21
@ 6:00 p.m. The Animal Protective League of Cuyahoga County will be at the library to talk about pet ownership and volunteer opportunities to work with animals. They will also have dogs and cats in need of their "forever homes" that can be adopted and taken home that evening. Call 330-425-4268 ext 2 to register.

Learn a compassionate approach to developing healthy temperament and good behavioral habits in your puppy or young dog. Dog trainer and behavior consultant Terence Cranendonk, co-author of the bestselling Puppy Whisperer, shares his expertise and insights in this 90 minute
presentation. Topics covered include the basic principles of positive, reward-based training, which can be applied to training dogs of all ages, as well as topics specific to raising a new pup, such as potty training, socialization, and nipping. The presentation includes a question and answer session in which the public can get expert advice in dealing with particular problem behaviors they are experiencing with their own dogs.
