Fallen Officer Angel Tree

Beginning December 2, the Children’s Department is paying tribute this holiday season to our fallen officers. You are invited to make an ornament to display on our Angel Tree dedicated to a fallen officer. The ornaments will be displayed at the library, then mailed to the families of the deceased.

LAN EVENT CANCELLED

Due to technical problems, the LAN Gaming Night for Saturday, November 28th, 7-10pm has been cancelled. The Left 4 Dead 1Tournament scheduled for Friday evening, Dec 4th, is NOT CANCELLED and is still being held. Registrations can be made in Teen Crossings. Permission slips required.

Teen Mystery Night

Friday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. Grades 5-8. Become a detective and solve the mystery of the murdered music librarian! Explore crime scenes, examine the evidence, interrogate the suspects in order to solve the crime. Register in Teen Crossings by calling 330-425-4268 ext. 6.

Got Talent?

Audition to act in the Twinsburg Public Library's Centennial Mystery Night: Who Shot the Librarian? The Casting Call is Wednesday, December 2, 7pm - Meeting Room 1; performance is Friday, February 26, 2010. Be prepared to read from the script; no monologue required.
Actors must be available for rehearsals evenings, late Jan. & through Feb. Register at the Reference Desk or online at www.twinsburglibrary.org.

Twinsburg Tigers on The Prowl

At this time, here is the proposed ticket information for this Saturday's upcoming game against the Massillon Tigers at Canton Fawcett Stadium - 7:00 p.m. kickoff
All pre-sale tickets are $7.00 and they will be $9.00 at the gate: Again, a portion of the pre-sale tickets benefits Twinsburg Athletics. No regular season passes, senior-citizen discounts, staff ID passes, or N.O.C. conference passes will grant admission to this game. Please make arrangements to purchase your tickets early this week during the following times:
Wednesday (November 11th) - 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. THS Commons and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that evening Thursday (November 12th) - 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - THS Commons

Medicare Check-Up Day

There are still openings available on Wednesday, November 18 at 10 a.m. for those wanting to learn about recent changes in Medicare and how to make the Annual Coordinated Election Period work for you. Tips for enrolling in 2010 coverage in a Medicare prescription drug plan or health plan will also be offered. On December 7, 2009, at 7pm, Muszikat-Shalom, a vocal and piano duo, will present the history and customs of different cultures through a variety of musical selections. Paws to Read for Children K+
