Introduction to Corporate Giving and Foundation Directory Online

Battle of the Bands!


Battle of the Bands will be held on Saturday, August 22, 6:30 pm, held at Hudson Library and the Historical Society's back patio. Come support local bands from Twinsburg, Hudson and Stow-Munroe Falls during this free concert and vote for the best. Winners will go on to receive studio time to cut a CD. Bakery will be provided for those who bring a canned good.

Adult Foreign Language Classes Resume

Introduction to Spanish for Adult Students begins Wednesdays, September 9 through October 28. The Library is offering a one-hour session at 7:45 p.m. Registration has already begun, but space is still available. Cost is $15.00 for materials and payment is due by September 7. Registration is required, so please call the Library's computer lab at 330-425-4268 ext 4

Play and Learn Workshops Return!

The Play and Learn workshop is five weeks of fun, starting Thursdays,September 10 through October 8, from 6:30-7:45 for children age 1, 2, and 3 years old and their parents and caregivers. It is a chance to meet other families, make a craft and play with lots of great toys, and talk with specialists on speech, discipline, nutrition, and children
development. Registration is limited and begins August 24. Call 330-425-4268 ext. 3 to register.

TPL Teens Take Trophy, Again!

CONGRATULATIONS! Twinsburg Public Library teens Ally Strok, Natalie Tarchik, Bob Liu, Gina Hawersaat and Grace Blanchard participated in the Battle of the Books competition against Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library and Cuyahoga Falls Public Library, as they answered questions based on books they've read over the summer. Once again they brought the trophy home to Twinsburg! Titles read included:

Friends Book Sale


The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be Saturday, August 15 next month due to the Twins Days Festival on August 8. They will be running a special on children's books for teachers: 100 books for $5.00, normally ten cents per item. Come see what kinds of great deals you can get!

State Librarian Jo Budler and Library Consultant Jan Haines will be visiting our Library on Friday, to see firsthand what great community support brings to a Library. We are eager to show off our great building, fantastic staff and supportive customers. Ms. Budler will be entertained by our TeenCrossings Troupe performance of "Tongue Twisted," and visiting with our Board of Trustees and staff members.
