Looking for a Tasty Recipe?

The Twinsburg Public Library features the Taste of Twinsburg Blog, which is regularly updated with new and delicious recipes. From appetizers to holiday meals to delicious desserts, the Taste of Twinsburg has it all. Most of the recipes were tried and tested by library staff and patrons. Beth Hatch, a Twinsburg Reference Librarian, creates videos for those especially difficult recipes.

Preparing for the SAT and ACT

Princeton Review Test Prep Dates Announced-- We will be offering a strategy session led by Princeton Review for those planning on taking the SAT and/or ACT tests. This helpful program will be held July 14 at 12:00 p.m. We will be hosting the practice ACT test on July 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Also, we will offer the SAT on August 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration for all three programs will begin June 16th. TPL Librarian Tries for Jeopardy

Librarian Cari Dubiel will be auditioning for Jeopardy! on June 10 at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland. After passing the initial internet test, she was asked to do a "live" audition.

Read for the Gold -Summer Reading Club Kickoff

June 1, 2008.

My first day as director started off with one of the best activities of the year, our Summer Reading Club Kickoff. The Youth Services and Adult Staffs and our teen volunteers were on hand to register nearly 400 people for our five different clubs. The community can participate in the Listening Club for ages 2-5; Readers club for ages K-3; Tweens grades 4-7; Teens grades 8-12 and the Adult Club. The Friends helped us by funding a visit from Party Animals who brought their fun inflatables; the Twinsburg Fitness Center provided an obstacle course and Frisbees for the children; and Giant Eagle of Twinsburg donated popsicles. It was exciting to see everyone so eager to get started on their summer reading. Both departments have worked hard to develop a fun program based on an Olympic theme. If you haven’t signed up yet, you have the whole summer to join!

Summer Hours

The Twinsburg Public Library is closed on Sundays beginning with May 25, through August 31.
Sunday hours will resume for 2008 on September 7, 2008.
